Parent Information

To help you get organised ahead of the new school term, don’t forget that much of the information you need is here on the website.

Uniform:

All our uniform is available through Tesco’s but don’t forget there is a cutoff for ordering it in time for school! It’s great quality.

The school get 5% cash donation which we use for all sorts of resources for the children.

Uniform list:

– Black trousers/skirt/shorts

– White Polo shirt (embroidered ones available through Tescos)

– Red logo jumper or cardigan.

Please also ensure your child has the following in school EVERY DAY:

PE Kit: Black shorts, red logo t-shirt and black logo hoody.

Swimming kit: Swimming costume (no bikinis or tankinis please) or trunks (no boardie style shorts please) plus towel.

Woodland School kit: Rough outdoor clothes, eg: T-shirt, long sleeve jumper or fleece, long tracksuit trousers and wellies.

We would ask that each kit is kept in a separate drawstring bag – no plastic bags please.

Payments and communication

We use a system called School Gateway which gives you access to pay for things online, for example trips or School Lunches. It also means we can communicate with you via the School Gateway app. Here’s a link to the initial launch – we’ll update it soon but it has all the information you need. You can sign up once your child is registered at the School.

School lunches:

School meals are cooked on site every day by the lovely Bridget. You can find our school menu here.

Lunches cost £2.20 per meal or £11 for the week. We courteously ask you that ALL school meals are paid for IN ADVANCE PLEASE.

Packed lunches:

All children in KS1 can have a free school meal and we urge you to take advantage of this, as our food is homemade, nutritionally balanced and tastes great! If your child would like to bring a packed lunch please ensure it’s in a named container and has a good balance of protein and carbohydrate – and some fruit or veg would be good too!

Toast:

Our toast club runs from 8.45 in the morning and children can purchase a slice of buttered toast there. At break time we also do toast on order – children will be asked in registration if they would like toast at breaktime.

In both instances toast is 15p a slice.

Breakfast club:

Breakfast club is run every day from 7.45am-8.45am. It must be booked in advance with the School Office or via School Gateway.

After School Club

Mrs Whitton runs our After School Club every day:

Session 1: 3.30-4.30 (£3)

Session 2 (after any other school clubs): 4.30-6 (£5) to include food and a drink.

Whole session: 3.30-6 (£8)
