Parents, Teachers and Friends Association

The PTFA is made up of parents, carers, teachers and friends of Bampton School with an interest in raising funds for equipment, resources and activities not already covered by the School budget.

We meet twice termly to discuss  how we as a school community can develop and improve school facilities and student opportunities. Through planning fundraising events such as PTFA Aquathlons and Scootathons, the Christmas Bazaar, Easter Eggstravaganza, end of term discos and the Summer Fete, we raise lots of money which we can then plough back into enhancing the children's experiences. We welcome new members and are hoping for more support in the coming months. If you can help in any way, or would like more information on the work we do then please contact bampton.sch@alumnismat.org. who will put you in touch with the right people - or look out for meeting dates on this page on the school website, posters or for notes your child's bookbag.

In the last year we have raised funds for and worked to improve the following things:

Applied and were granted money for new School Benches from the Rotary Exmoor Club

Purchased pool woggles and a new swimming pool cover

Spent more than £500 on new books

Contributed towards the new playground safety matting

Volunteered for help with reading

Worked to improve the outdoor spaces in the playgrounds and to clear the pond area

Made gifts for our Year 6 Leavers
