We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Bampton CofE Primary School.

We are situated on the outskirts of Exmoor in the beautiful rolling hills of Mid Devon.  Our fabulous building was built in 2008 and has fantastic grounds planned and landscaped to inspire learning outside as well as in. Children learn to swim in our covered, heated pool and the extensive playgrounds, field and woodland area are wonderful resources for teaching and learning in.

Walk in the door of our school and you will immediately notice the buzz of energy created by the enthusiasm of our learners, supported by very talented staff.  Our Christian ethos underpins everything we do.  We are all about nurturing, building character and supporting one another – one big Bampton Family which extends to our school guinea-pigs, chickens and the occasional visit of our school pony!

We have high expectations at Bampton and our Curriculum 360 framework ensures that many cross curricular opportunities are planned to reinforce children’s learning across a wide range of subjects.  Building character is central to this framework and children are recognised for their wider skills as well as their academic ones. Children are inspired by their teachers who, through their passion for excellence, aim to  instil in them a love of learning that will support them through the rest of their educational career and beyond.  Enrichment plays a huge part in this and trips and visitors ensure the children begin to know a  world beyond their immediate experience.

Please do get in touch and come and see for yourself!
